On January 19th, 2021, the Church Council had its regular meeting via Zoom. The following are the main updates to convey:
Due to the continuance of COVID-19, the Council has decided to continue only live streaming our services through March 7, 2021. Our March Council meeting is on March 9, 2021 and we will re-evaluate the situation then.
We are pleased to announce that our viewership is growing each week! You may continue to watch on Facebook, YouTube or our own Website and scroll to the bottom of the first page.
The Council has decided on the dates for our Virtual Annual Meeting. The meeting will take place on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 1PM. There will be a practice session for everyone who will attend the meeting the week before on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1PM.
The reason for the practice session is to make sure everyone has the proper App or software installed before the meeting takes place. Plus it is always nice to see other people! If it works well we can do it regularly. We will be utilizing the GoToWebinar platform for this meeting. Options exist for both online (computer, tablet, smartphone) as well as call-in connections. Everyone who wants to participate will be able to do so.
The Tech Team is practicing with this technology on February 2, 2021 and the Council is practicing on February 9, 2021. Expect updates to follow our test-runs.
All Annual Reports will continue to be compiled this year. They will contain all of the financial reports, reports from the council president, the Pastor's report, and other critical information. Reports from various organizations (Missions, Fidelis, YAYA, Women's Fellowship, etc.) will be included as well.
The deadline for all items included in the Annual Report is Friday February 12, 2021.
Most of you will receive your copy via email from the Church office, only a few hard copies will be printed.
