A couple reminders this week:

~Join us on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m. through April 5th for our Lenten Soup Supper and Fellowship! We will start around 6:00 p.m. with a prayer, enjoy our meal and Pastor Scott will finish the evening with a Lenten prayer.

All are Welcome!

~We will be collecting gift cards for Turning Point in Mt. Clemens during this Lenten Season. There is a basket set up in the back of the Sanctuary for you to place these gift cards. Preferred cards would be from Meijer, WalMart, Kroger, Target, Chewy, Pet Smart, etc. They can be for any amount of your choosing, just make sure the amount is written somewhere on the card.

~ Easter Flower orders need to be turned in to the offering plate or the church office by THIS SUNDAY . They will be displayed on the altar on Easter Sunday morning and can be taken home that day after the worship service. Order forms are available at the back of the sanctuary.

~ If you have a birthday coming up and would like to have your favorite hymn sung at church that week, just call or e-mail the church office the week before and we will add it to the worship service!

~ Many times during the week our Zion members and friends are in need of a special prayer. Often Sunday is far away and the need for prayer is now! Our PRAYER SUPPORT TEAM will be contacted and offer a prayer from their home. We believe in the power of prayer and the power of love. Please contact the church at the email above, call (586)463-0069 leave a message if there is no answer, or contact Pastor Scott, Jennifer Haberer or Barbara VanDecar and our team will be contacted. Our faith family and friends are continually in our prayers.

~ Our altar always looks more beautiful if it is adorned with flowers! If you would like to purchase flowers in memory of a loved one or in honor of someone you hold dear. The cost is $37.00 for 2 arrangements that are placed on both sides of our altar. Please contact the church office to schedule your Sunday and we will handle the ordering. Payments can be made before the date you chose by mailing a check or money order to the church made out to Zion UCC or you can drop the payment in the offering basket and make sure you label it ALTAR FLOWERS. Flowers are available for pick up on the Sunday you choose after the service has ended. Thank you!
